You are an amazing portrait artist. I have never had a strong sense for creating in this manner, so I am in awe!

I love your use of colors!

the painting allows the humanity of the subject to fill the canvas, the paper, this act of selflessness in the painter makes the work strong for me. kjm

This time around i actually noticed that sharp gold line that separates her shoulder from the background and the purple "frame" on the right side of the picture. Delightful touches

It's always nice to take a second look. I sometimes re-discover my own work when someone calls attention to it in the comments.

dale, the dream, dawn, kjm, loren, lee's river, solitary walker -- Thanks so much for your kind words about "Person With Questions." Much appreciated, as Old Girl Of The North Country is in quiet mode for now.

I'm glad I stopped back in and read your comment. I have been wondering how you are. Quiet is good. I hope you are painting.

Hi robin andrea -- Always good to hear from you. Still in quiet mode, but not painting. It's 5:30 p.m. and still fairly light here. Winter's on its way out. Have thoroughly enjoyed having a window on Santa Cruz through this winter.
