ELEVENTH DAY / QUESTIONS

Knockin' on the door, I say, "Who is it and where are you from?"
Man says, "Freddy!" I say, "Freddy who?" He says, "Freddy or not here I come"

("Po' Boy," lyrics by Bob Dylan from "Love and Theft," released September 11, 2001)

Will you stay with me to the end?

("Please Stay," lyrics by Warren Zevon from "The Wind," released August 26, 2003)

Mmm.. I feel in my heart of hearts there may be a slight, muffled rapping at the door for my father. But nevertheless he's being fed, cleaned and watered by extraordinarily dedicated nurses. He is weak but his spirit is strong.

Sorry to get so personal - but my father's name is Freddy!

Joy and peace :-)
