Awake and alert / 1982 -- 32 years old

Twenty-eight years later, I sleep through the night for the most part. It's been a long time since I've seen the hills of childhood. A few days ago, I put my paints under the table and brought out my inkle loom and my palette of cotton rug warp for inkle-woven scarves and belts:

beautiful. May I ask about the book on the table? The cover design is very similar to the ones that used to be done by the French editor éditions du Seuil

I see what you mean (-:

The book on my table is The Courage to Create, by Rollo May, 1975.

"Extraordinary, wise and hopeful ... nearly poetic meditations." -- Boston Globe

On the back cover it says:

Cover design by Mother Design

Seuil is a good word for me to learn at this time of year.

Yes, that's exactly right (don't know Mabankou's work, will have to check it out).

Read May's book in what now feels like several centuries ago. Seems to me I agreed with him.

Seuil - that's right. Plus it has a nice sound to it.

cheers, am. (word verif adds: bookourn)
