Love seems to be THE topic!

My mind played an interesting trick when I read the first quote, I swear I read Ram Dass and not Rumi. I love a little gift like that, letting the teacher be love itself.

I've been wanting to email you to thank you for your very perceptive comment on Dharma Bums the other day, but I don't have your email address. You said something about the sound of crickets, and it was so incredibly perceptive. The crickets have been very vocal this month. It's quite a beautiful sound during late summer here. You totally remember it the way it is.

The second quote very much speaks to me. It seems that, if others don't understand how things are with their hearts, they will never understand with their minds. Just speaking from a personal state of being - but that's how it seems.
Hope you are well. I will soon be traveling. It seems to have taken longer and more energy than in the past just to get ready, but I think all will be okay once I'm on the road.
