Beautiful photo, a perfect capture of that light. Love the quote.

I like to speak the language of the heart. Unfortunately, though, I've found it can sometimes lead to disaster if it's your only vocabulary!

kjm -- Glad you liked the photo. Sometimes I think of leaving Whatcom County for somewhere in Northern California, but I know now that I would find myself as homesick for this place as I still am for the landscape I left in Northern California in 1973. I've been fortunate to have been able to walk in two such compelling landscapes.

robin andrea -- Thank you. It was the light that caught my attention as I was sitting at my laptop late in that day. Today the morning the sun is so bright that I have to lower the shades to my left to be able to see my laptop at all!

I'm enjoying your words and silence blog and loved seeing the signs of spring in the Midlands at The Solitary Walker blog.
